On Sunday April 9th 2006 our two new Continental Giants arrived safely at their new home. Brought along to us by our friends Gina and Roy Hart (www.lecoeurrabbitrescue.co.uk) our new babies tumbled into our lives!

At 12 weeks old they were tiny compared to Wallace, however we were overwhelmed by how friendly and inquisitive they are. In due course Marcus visited the vet, the reason why remaining a mystery to him! They live together in an 8ft square shed and settled in really well.

It was BOUND to happen!

June 1st had been a busy day for Connie and Marcus, ending up with Marcus relaxing by the pond's edge. He is turning into the laziest rabbit we have ever come across!

Connie was less inclined to rest, having spotted a particularly delicious looking plant just out of reach in the water. It just needed to be sampled, so she reached, and stretched and...SPLASH!

Luckily rabbits can swim!!

Sadly she has not learned from this experience and to date has had two more such watery adventures!


Life is never dull... YUM!
