Return to Continental Giants

Daisy

Daisy joined us the day of Wallace's death. Knowing the depth of sadness at losing him and feeling that his boss would need a big rabbit around quickly, she was brought immediately from Basingstoke. She made an immediate impression, being very forward and having beautiful long eye lashes which give her a stunning appearance.

Daisy has since then managed to manipulate every happening to her advantage.  She remains very demanding of attention and enjoys nothing better than to spend all day free in the garden.  She will come when called - if it suits her and if there are cracker biscuits to hand.  She is able to read our minds and knows to keep well out of the way should she sense that she is to be caught and returned to her home.

A special girl -  and she knows it!

Pals together!

During Summer 2008, we decided that we would try bonding her with Jaffa our adorable fawn french lop.  He had had a short visit to the vet in anticipation of this and it was love at first sight!  Sleepovers soon became normal and within a few days they were a pair. We have been amused how Jaffa's coat - once a total mess -  has now become soft and silky due to Daisy's continual attention!
