We had met a Thrianta called Peanut at the Rescue - a bunny who was full of joie-de-vivre, very demanding of attention and fuss. Secretly we desired one and when another arrived there for re-homing the temptation was just too much.
Thriantas are a relatively new breed to the UK having been first standardised here around 25 years ago. The breed was developed just before the Second World War from a combination of Tans, Papillons and Havanas in the Netherlands. We have been delighted with the wonderful, warm and friendly nature of this bunny. A small rabbit, but with a heart and a personality as large as a Frenchie.
Pip's previous owner had been forced to give him up due to a change in her circumstances and we were delighted to have the chance to have him to live with us in September 2006.
